01 — Acceptance
By downloading or using Steady, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please uninstall the app and discontinue use.
02 — Use of the App
Steady is a personal finance and loyalty card tracking tool. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
You must not:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app
- Use the app for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the app in a way that could damage, disable, or impair our services
03 — Financial Disclaimer
Steady is a budgeting and tracking tool only. It does not constitute financial advice. The information displayed in the app is based solely on data you enter and is for personal reference only. Always consult a qualified financial adviser for investment, tax, or financial planning decisions.
04 — Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of the Google account used to sign in to Steady. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised access to your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, sign out immediately and secure your Google account.
05 — Your Data
You own all data you enter into Steady. We do not claim any ownership over your budget entries, loyalty card details, or personal information. You may delete all your data at any time from Settings → Delete account.
06 — Availability
We aim to keep Steady available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice where possible. We are not liable for any loss caused by service interruptions.
07 — Limitation of Liability
Steady is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for:
- Any loss of data
- Financial decisions made based on information shown in the app
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app
08 — Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and branding within Steady is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without our written permission.
09 — Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app. Continued use of Steady after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
10 — Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the app will be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
